The Inbox brings connected channel messages into one place. Use it to triage communication quickly and promote messages that require tracked work to the Board.

Triage the message
Open the message and choose the action that matches its next state:
- mark it read when it has been reviewed;
- flag it when it needs attention;
- snooze it until a better time;
- archive it when no further work is needed.
These actions organize a general Inbox item. They do not create project work unless you explicitly promote the message to a ticket.
Draft or send a response
Use the message context to prepare a draft or reply. Review the recipients and body before sending or approving the external action. Keep a draft when another person needs to review or complete it first.
Promote work to a ticket
Choose the option to create or promote the open message to a ticket. Select the destination project, edit the title and details so the required outcome is clear, and create the ticket.
AI Agent links the new ticket to the original Inbox message. Open the linked ticket to add subtasks, attachments, comments, or agent work; use the original message when you need the communication context.
Continue from the right place
Manage execution and status from the linked ticket. Return to the Inbox for channel communication and message-level triage. This keeps one tracked work item without losing its source conversation.

Limitations
- Reading, flagging, snoozing, or archiving a message does not create a ticket.
- Manual promotion is explicit. A configured intake such as a Gmail filter can turn matching threads into tickets automatically.
- Reply capabilities depend on the connected channel account and its tool access.
