A connection represents one external account. Connecting it adds the account to the workspace; it does not automatically give every agent access.
Connect an account
Choose a provider
Open Connections and select the service you need.
Start authorization
Select Connect and review the account you intend to add.
Authorize the account
Complete the provider’s OAuth consent flow or enter the requested API key.
Confirm the result
Return to AI Agent and verify that the intended account is Active.
Use a dedicated account with the least access needed when the provider supports it.
Understand status
Active
The account is ready to be attached to an agent.
Attention
Authorization or account details need review.
Expired
The credential can no longer be used.
Choose Reconnect for an attention or expired connection and complete authorization again.
Disconnect an account
Open the connection, choose Disconnect, and confirm. Agents and workflows using that exact account will no longer be able to call it. Review those agents before disconnecting a shared account.
Disconnecting in AI Agent stops its use in AI Agent. You can also revoke authorization in the provider when you want to invalidate the provider-side grant.
Next step
After connecting, open each intended agent and select the exact account it should use. Review tool access before saving.
